Molly Becker is a litigation attorney specializing in child and elder abuse matters, including those involving contested guardianship and conservatorship cases, and the representation of children, parents and guardians involved with Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) during Child Protective Services (CPS) and Adult Protective Services (APS) assessments, dependency proceedings, and administrative reviews and hearings. Prior to practicing law, she worked for ODHS as a CPS worker in the Portland area investigating reports of child abuse and neglect. Over the years, she has worked closely with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), law enforcement, multi-disciplinary teams (MDT) and Child Advocacy Centers (CAC) on the front lines of protecting children and families in often-complex cases. She enjoys meeting challenges head-on with creative and collaborative problem-solving, and continues to be passionate about reducing the overrepresentation of children of color in foster care.
Outside of her work both in and out of the courtroom, you can find Molly cheering on her son at his basketball games or walking her pug and rescue chihuahua.
