Karri is the Executive Director of CASA for Children of Klamath County. Raised in California. Karri obtained her Masters of Nursing degree from the University of California, San Francisco and Bachelors in Nursing from Humboldt State University. Karri worked as a clinical nurse specialist at Northwestern in Chicago, IL and taught nursing at Oregon Health & Sciences University’s Oregon Tech Campus. Karri has worked in many areas of the nursing profession both in the clinical and academic settings, and she has found her experiences to be beneficial in working with not only kids in foster care, but also the CASA volunteers and the challenges they face. Karri loved the CASA mission and all that it had done in the community and became the Executive Director five years ago. Karri has a passion for child abuse prevention and has recently become a certified Stewards of the Children facilitator. She loves Southern Oregon and has lived in Klamath Falls for 25 years. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, cycling, paddle boarding, and spending time with her husband and children.
