Shaney Starr

Shaney has a BA in Business Administration, minor in Speech Communications from NW Christian University with a Masters in Management and Organizational Leadership from Warner Pacific.  Married and step mom to three daughters, Shaney has over 15 years’ experience working in nonprofit organizations with four years in Public Relations and Strategic Communications work.  She is experienced in large scale fund raising and special event management, along with collective impact work. Shaney has developed a focused area of practice in working with struggling non-profits to stabilize and grow them to ensure they are operating at maximum efficiency and effectiveness. She is a member of the Marion County Children and Families Commission, the Family Preservation Action Team, the Downtown Salem Rotary Club, and Salem First Christian Church. She also serves on Boards of Directors for four local non-profits in Marion County. Shaney recently completed her education to be a Certified Fundraising Manager through Indiana University. In her spare time, she enjoys training with her rescue dog, Lilly Mae, reading and tending to her rose garden.
