Sid Johnson 

Retired Policy Adviser 

Throughout his career, Sid focused on national policy and politics concerning children and human services. He was a senior policy adviser to U.S. Senator then Vice President Walter Mondale; during that time, he helped to draft and enact the federal Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act. He was the CEO of four national human services nonprofit organizations, concluding with Prevent Child Abuse America.  Now retired, Sid continues to advocate on the behalf of several organizations focused on vulnerable children.Sid holds a B.A. in Political Science and a M.A. in Social Work and Social Policy.
